Nothing was too much trouble especially as we were travelling with my elderly disabled mother. There was always help at hand when we needed it. We were only there for the weekend, but felt relaxed from the moment we arrived, the staff were very friendly and efficient, would go there again. The views were beautiful.
The entrance to the hotel was not particularly wheelchair friendly ( to English standards) but the staff offered on a number of occasions to lift the wheelchair the four or five steps, once inside the hotel there were no problems as there was a lift to all floors and there were disabled toilets on the ground floor. From the car park there is a slope up to the hotel but there was always a member of staff to help if required.

It was breathtaking to look at them from the balcony in our spacious rooms. the service provided by the staff was helpful and courteous, and the breakfast was quite satisfying. the hotel also offered free parking to guests, which was convenient. One of the most impressive facilities was the in-house restaurant, which served delectable dishes made from locally sourced ingredients.
It's unfortunate that the hotel's reception area was a little cramped and could use more space, which made check-in feel a bit slow and uncomfortable.

Great lake view and amazing hiking opportunities in the area. the breakfast buffet offered a variety of tasty options. the hotel had free parking which was a plus.
The air conditioning in our room did not work properly and it became very uncomfortable during the hot Easter weekend. We asked for a fan, but they did not have any.

Stunning views, friendly staff, and delicious food. I had an amazing city break with beautiful lake views, perfect for relaxing after a busy day of exploring. The staff were welcoming and made me feel at home. Their kindness and attention to detail made my stay even more delightful. I enjoyed the delicious food, especially the fish soup and the ragout of venison with cranberries, bread dumplings and red cabbage - a real treat for the taste buds. Also, the location was ideal, with plenty of hiking opportunities and water activities just a stone's throw away.
Limited public transportation. The only downside was the limited public transportation, making it necessary to have a car or to rent a taxi for transportation. This could make it difficult for those who rely on public transport or prefer not to drive during their stay. Nonetheless, this small inconvenience was well worth it for the breathtaking location and the amazing experience at this hotel.
